My name is Luc Ljoka.

I’m a queer artist and writer based in the San Fernando Valley, with a passion for visual storytelling and world building.

My passions came from my childhood of collecting vintage comic books and watching/studying my favorite cartoons on TV. During my undergrad at Boston University I created my own comic series, “Doctor’s Orders,” a satirical advice column starring two counselors, Fishstick and Moose. The series was published weekly in The Daily Free Press from 2023 until my graduation in spring of 2025.

I currently work in animation as a creative associate on several animated projects with industry professional, Brock Powell. I have also taken on the role of lead animator for an upcoming Halloween special on the queer comedy series, Open To It.
